Mit ihrem Kunstkollektiv „Los Ojos“ hat sie die Filminstallation „Das Kit: Blicke gegen Rassissmus“ entwickelt, welche den historisch gewachsenen Alltagsrassismus als eine Interaktion allein durch Blicke betrachtet, vor allem die Blicke, die rassifizierend, bewertend und verletztend sind. Sie beschäftigt sich damit, wie „Places“ und „Spaces“ konstruiert und imaginiert werden und wie Menschen insbedondere rassifizierte Menschen an diesen Orten in Erscheinung treten.","Englisch":"Ana Paula dos Santos is a visual artist working with photography, film and installation. In her latest project, \"Deconstructing a Place in the sun\", she explored the themes of decoloniality, postcoloniality and the deconstruction of colonial imaginaries, images and attributions, questioning with her work the colonial imaginaries and projections of Places and Spaces in the past and present. With her art collective \"Los Ojos\", she has developed the film installation \"The Kit: Looks Against Racism\", which looks at historically grown everyday racism as an interaction through looks alone, especially the looks that are racialising, evaluating and hurting. Weitere Stationen waren das Junge Schauspielhaus Hamburg, die Böll-Stiftung, Lukulule e.V. und das Altonaer Museum, wo sie 2020 eine Ausstellung im Rahmen des Black History Month Hamburg organisierte.
